Technical Animation and Spatial Graphics
Learn to animate from professionals who have been there (and still are). Computer Graphics Technology’s Animation and Spatial Graphics plan of study provides a comprehensive, traditional and technical, education that prepares students for a variety of 3D animation careers. Students learn from instructors who have both professional experience working at major studios, and are passionate about teaching and your success. As a Computer Graphics Technology animation student, you will learn both the technical skills and conceptual theory that mirror industry standards.
The Technical Animation and Spatial Graphics plan requires students to successfully complete 120 credit hours. All CGT courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better.

Description of the video:
The Animation concentration is designed to help you learn both the theory and practice of animating. This includes the principles of animation, (created and refined by the Disney legends such as John Lasseter of Pixar fame), keyframing and timeline workflow, staging, lighting, rendering, and character animation. You will take courses in preproduction to storyboard and plan your animation, production courses learning pose to pose animation, to post production courses where you'll learn to render, composite and process your animation into a finished state. We will give you a complete understanding of the animation workflow taught by faculty who have been there. So what are you waiting for? Join us as you take your skills to new heights."The animation track is perfect for any student interested in motion-based storytelling. Whether you’re pursuing 2D animation or the ever-growing world of 3D rendering, this concentration will provide you with the skills needed to push boundaries in the diverse field of animation."
